5 Reasons to do Outdoor Personal Training

  1. Safety. Because of the current Covid-19 climate, a lot of people have discovered the great outdoors as a form of exercise. Of course at FFI, we have always believed in the beauty of outdoors training for health and fitness benefits. One of the main reasons that people are outdoors is that they don't want to go back into the enclosed gym environment, where there is close contact with strangers. Taining outdoors in your garden or local green space or beach, gives you your own safe personal space.
  2. Fresh Air. Personal training outdoors makes you feel better when training. When you are training hard, there is nothing like cool fresh clean air for you to feel and breathe. This, in our experience, helps our clients train that bit harder.
  3. Stress reliever. Personal training outdoors is a great stress reliever. Surrounded by nature, gives you that less stressful experience. A great way to de-stress, if your job involves you sitting in an office for 8 or more hours a day.
  4. Healthy. Get plenty of sunshine on your face for that healthy look :) Yes we do get some rain in Ireland, but generally our climate is perfect for outdoors training. We have found that we have had wetter summers most years. In summer there are always tress to train under for shelter. Or better still, some of our clients have erected gazebos in their back gardens for those rainy days.
  5. Convenient. When you train in your garden or local green space, the trainer travels to you. So you can train locally and not have to commute to the gym. You can go straight into your own personal shower.You could even get one or all of the family to join you.
